Who the Intervention Counselors really are.
To understand Intervention Services and Technologies, Inc. it is best to understand the employees that work for us and what brings us all together. Founded by two brothers whose lives were impacted by addictions, we feel that we understand the impact that an addiction can bring to a family system. However, beyond the founders of the company, we feel it is important to explain a bit of the background of the rest of our team.
From our receptionists to our Office Manager, our CFO to our family counselors, each of us has been directly impacted by addiction within our own family and within our own lives. Each of us have a story. The suicide of an addicted parent, the caretaker of an addict with brain damage from her addiction, the adoption of an addicted child, the pain of a father who chooses drugs over his family time and again, the struggles with a personal addiction.  Each of us at Intervention Services and Technologies, Inc. understands addiction in our own way. Hopefully, listed below, you will understand why we work here. Why, for each of us, helping others to recover has become our purpose.

Other Intervention Counselors and Intervention Specialists in Our Team
In addition to Kevin, we pride ourselves in having a diverse blend of intervention counselors and intervention specialists, each of whom dedicates their lives and their time to helping others.
Lee W. Thompson, CCDC, CIS, CADC,
Intervention Counselor, Interventionist Specialist - Sometimes you have to lose in order to win. It wasn’t until his wife finally said, “Lee, I’m not leaving you because I don’t love you. I’m leaving you because I do.” that Lee finally understood the price that alcohol and drugs can cost. Although he didn’t lose his career, he lost the thing most important to him…his family. Surrendering to sobriety over 6 years ago,
Lee’s purpose as an interventionist is to help anyone who is in need of help with their demons, before it is too late.
